Full Tour Description

Explore a Babylonstoren a phenomenal Wineland Garden garden filled with fruit trees, herbs, medicinal plants and veggies to view as you roam it's peach pip patches. The Garden is home to Donkeys, large Tortoises and feathery friends who are in charge of pest control and keep the garden in tip-top shape. 

 

If natural produce appeals to you visit the farm stall with artisan cheeses, meats, preserves, farm-fresh bread and beauty and home products all made for purchase by Babylonstorn. 

After your walkabout through the Garden of Eden enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards, garden, and Simonsberg Mountains as you sip on fantastic homegrown estate wines.

 

Next estate is well known for its award-winning wine especially their Chardonnays ~ Chardonnay lovers be prepared to fall in love with Chardonnay all over again!

 

Lunch will be inspired by the seasons and paired to perfection with their wine on their shaded terrace deck with gorgeous panoramic views. 

 

After the wine and dine love affair visit the estate's art gallery which houses a collection of contemporary, pop and modern art by South African artists or take a walk through their Zen Fynbos Garden.

 

Situated on the foothills of Paarl’s majestic Drakenstein Mountains is Laborie an enchanting historic wine estate with its rolling lawns, vineyards, oak trees, kaleidoscope gardens and old Cape Dutch architecture.
